Chavs generally means scum but i guess a lot of people use it too freely on people who shop at argos and have like ten kids before they are twenty, well who cares! shame on them anyway for having such awful taste, but im talking about yobs, thugs, street scum, CHAVS! i will not be told not to use this word, i will use whatever word i like (to a certain extent of course). Political Correction is the laughing stock of the nation, it is ridiculous. Who cares?? Chavs chavs chavs chavs. These creatures need to be labelled, they are everywhere! And i would like to know who finds this word offensive? The poor little skinheads who are infesting our streets like cockroaches. Like i said, who cares.

I’m not convinced by “not working class”. I think chavs are distinct from welfare scum. They have *aspirations*, if not taste. They aspire to Argos jewelry, holidays in Spain, and bling. You may not like the aesthetic but there’s nothing dishonest or evil in a chav. Nothing dishonourable whatever in working in McDondald’s and spending your money on body kits for your Peugot 205.
