If you get a blank page when downloading attachments from gmail, here are some possible solutions..

workaround 1:
open TMP options > Links > Prevent blank tabs when downloading files >
EDIT
and remove from the list the line /disp=attd&view=att/
workaround 2:
lock the tab
workaround 3:
Ctrl-click or middle-Click on the Download link
Workaround #1 worked for me…
