I’ve seen a huge proliferation of the following two scams on my Myspace page. The first involves the sentence:
“hey have you seen this blog that it was about you? its bad stuff, click on the link to check it out “
or
“you gotta see this diana’s profile, its sad to hear what happened to her..well im not going to go into details but you just gotta see her profile”
and a link to a myspace login site (which is a phishing page)
The second involves the sentence:
hey my frienVd Em3ily saw your prof5ile and thinks youre hodt, she walnts you to cojntact her on msxn mesusenger at emily20bath@hotmail.com (or emily23york@hotmail.com ) thankxs she said shes wa9iting
Be warned! (no, I didn’t fall for it!)
